I love being a stay at home mom. But I'm really an outdoors type person. The real problem is that it's so hot right now that my four month old can't get out too much. The heat hurts her. Later it will be the cold, she's cold natured like her daddy. This is driving me insane. I hate being cooped up indoors all of the time! I can't wait until she gets a little bit bigger and I can do more outdoor activity with her.
What's more she's an outdoor person as well. She's vary observant, and loves having so much to look at. But the heat makes it impossible for her to stay outside for long stretches. So she gets cranky at times and it's because she's bored. That's OK though, because when she gets a little older I'm going to have her out more. Probably toward the end of winter.
I find it funny. I'm a fall Baby -my birthday's this month- and I love the cool weather. She and her daddy are both spring babies and they love the warm weather. I wonder why that is. Because the first some many months of our lives we have to deal with that kind of weather and get used to it? Although you know what they say about Texas Weather - "If you don't like it wait a minute, It'll change." And it's true, too. The best weather reports are made by going outside. Hummm..... if your wet it's raining; If it's cold and your wet, it's snowing; If the sun is shining, it's a clear day; if it's not, it's not. Most folks don't understand, what the weatherman does is give an educated guess. And their guess is just as good as mine. Their predictions aren't written in stone like most folks want.
I love the noises my baby makes. She's in there doing this right now. She's so cute. She isn't babbling too much yet, but every now and then she gets into the mood. Heaven forbid she gets like my grandmother was. She wouldn't talk to you hardly, she'd just grunt. That's more like what she's doing right now, grunting and whimpering. I suppose that'll change as she gets older though, and she puts meaning to words. Grin I just looked at the time... I'll bet she's hungry again. Later.
